Since the start of Chestr, we’ve been offering a few staple community programs: Direct Bids, Gas Fee Sponsorships, Content Bounties.
The goal of our programs has always been to support creators of different experience levels.
We’ve been able to support hundreds of creators, but time to take it to the next level.
Starting today, we’re going to introduce a new structure to all community programs.
#1 Community Curations [Weekly]
What’s better to support individual creators than to directly bid on their work, right?
Every week on Wednesday, we’ll be announcing the week’s budget on Twitter and asking the community to suggest NFTs that we should bid on.
Each piece will be evaluated based on effort level, execution, engagement, and peer endorsement.
We will narrow down from all the suggestions into the final 5, then we begin community voting in the #social-club-voting channel in Discord to select the final winner together.
#2 Gas Fee Sponsorships [Weekly]
Every week on Friday, we’ll be asking the community which pieces of work we should help mint.
Anyone interested can share their unminted work, as well as title & description.
We will narrow down from all the suggestions into the final 5, then we begin community voting in the #social-club-voting channel in Discord to select the final winner together.
#3 Goal-Setting Challenge [Weekly]
Let’s help each other build good habits, by introducing clarity and intention to our pursuits in the NFT space.
Every week on Monday, come share your goals for the week, then on Friday tell us whether you’ve achieved them.
We’ll keep each other accountable and help create consistent progress.
A random winner will be picked from those who completed at least one goal, and a gas fee sponsorship will be issued to the winner.
#4 Hangout Spaces [Bi-weekly]
Every 2 weeks, we’ll be hosting a Twitter space where everyone is welcome to chill, shill, and talk all things NFT.
This is a good chance for us to get to know each other better and to share more about our own work.
We’ll also be making announcements and exchanging ideas in these sessions, so be sure to come hang out!
#5 Content Bounties [Bi-weekly]
Roughly every 2–3 weeks we’ll be dropping a new bounty, where we specify the submission details and engage our community members for their creative. Each bounty will have specific requirements, rewards, and expiry dates.
Our goal is to encourage creators to collaborate and explore forms of expression that are unique to the NFT format.

What about Chestr Social Club?
As you may have noticed, some voting processes are not open to the public. Experience has taught us that public votes are hard to organize well especially when there’s money involved.
That said, we’d love to involve our community members as much as possible, today we’re officially introducing the Chestr Social Club.
Everyone who holds the Chestr Social Club NFT will have access to the club, as well as other perks & privileges — starting with voting rights, and access to airdrops.
There are a few ways to get the Chestr Social Club token:
- Sign up on www.chestr.io with profile information (especially Discord handle). We’ll be issuing tokens periodically to those who have signed up.
- Be active & supportive in the community. Hang out, be respectful, create or collect, and ask for or offer feedback. We’ll keep an eye out for distinguished members and offer tokens periodically.
- Participate in Chestr NFT drops as creators or collectors.
- Secondary market.
